Browning Buckmark Field Strip

Browning Buckmark Field Strip Tube. Duration : 4.15 Mins.

A reference video for disassembly of the Browning Buckmark .22 pistol. 1. Make sure gun is not loaded. 2. Use the 3/32" hex head wrench provided with the gun to remove the sight rail. Be careful not to lose the lock washers inside and to install them correctly upon reassembly. 3. Pull the slide back approximately 1" and lift up on the spring guide rod. This is the hardest part and takes some practice. If the slide is displaced just the right ammount, you should be able to lift the entire firing pin/recoil spring assembly and plastic bumper from the pistol body. If it catches, push it back into place, readjust the slide, and try again. 4. Remove the slide. (This should be adequate disassembly for any necessary cleaning. 5. To remove the barrel, use a 7/64" hex head wrench to loosen the screw located to the front of the trigger guard. (I had to purchase this as it was not included with the gun) I hope this video was helpful. If you're trying to decide which .22 pistol to purchase, I highly recommend the Buckmark. Before you buy anything else, at least hold the Buckmark so you can see how well designed the grips are. Happy shooting!
